NYC DOB Changes How Electrical Jobs Transfer to a New Licensee
Licensed electricians taking responsibility for another licensee's jobs must submit a Supersede Request in DOB NOW.
Electrical Jobs Filed in BIS to Be Marked Abandoned After August 23, 2025
Starting August 23, 2025, any electrical job filed in BIS that has not been signed off by the DOB will be marked as “Abandoned” within the system.
