Key Updates to DOB Rules on GHG Emissions Limits Adjustments

The New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) has adopted important amendments to its rules governing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions limit adjustments under Local Law 97.

7/13: NYCDOB ADVISES PROPERTY OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, & CRANE OPERATORS TO TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES DURING HIGH WINDS AND THUNDERSTORMS

The New York City area may experience thunderstorms, high heat and potential wind gusts of up to 60 MPH starting today, Wednesday, July 13th, and continuing into tomorrow, Thursday, July 14th. Accordingly, DOB is reminding all builders, contractors, crane operators, and property owners to secure their construction sites, buildings, and equipment.
