March 20, 2023 – Cahill Strategies Founder and CEO Diane Cahill accepted ABC National’s Beamer of The Year award for 2022 at the Associated Builders and Contractors 2023 National Convention in Kissimmee, Florida. Diane is the first woman to receive this honor.
Through her tireless dedication to our client, ABC Empire Chapter of New York, Diane has recruited more members to the ABC Empire Chapter for the year 2022 than any member at any chapter nationally. Diane accepted the award at the convention’s awards luncheon, attended by chapters from around the country, close friends, and senior Cahill staff.
We’re incredibly proud! Big thanks to Brian Sampson and everyone at ABC Empire Chapter and the wonderful folks at ABC National. We also wish to congratulate all of the honorees and participants at that we had the pleasure of meeting.
Welcome home, Beamer.
From ABC Empire State:
At the ABC Convention held last week in Orlando, Empire State Chapter member Diane Cahill was awarded the 2022 Beamer of the Year. She’s the first woman to ever win the honor.
The Beamer of the Year is awarded to an ABC member who recruits more new members to a Chapter than any other person in the country. It’s the most prestigious award a member can receive from the national organization.
“Diane and her team are such a tremendous asset to ABC and our members,” said Brian Sampson, the President of the Chapter. “They’re tireless advocates for the open shop industry. Whether it’s helping with a communication issue or monitoring legislative issues, we lean on them for their expertise and experience.”
Cahill is the founder and CEO of Cahill Strategies LLC. Her company is a full-service New York government relations, advocacy, and communications firm that help the Empire State Chapter with work in New York City. In 2022 she recruited 12 new members to ABC. She’s already recruited two new ones in 2023.
Diane is the second person from the Chapter to win the award since its inception.
Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 22,000 members.
Based on the merit shop philosophy, we help our members develop people, win work and deliver work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which they work.
