As Communications Director, Timothy Hurley navigates a broad spectrum of media promotion for our clients and our firm. A veteran broadcast television producer, video director, website designer, and social media campaign manager, Tim has extensive practical experience in using different media channels for issue and brand advocacy.
Having previously spent nearly six years as New Media Specialist for a regional government relations firm, Tim introduced a new capability to New York lobbying by combining in-house video production, website development, and social media management into individually synced, cross-platform media campaigns. Through these means, Tim has successfully advocated for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and public policy initiatives before the New York State Legislature, New York City Council, local governments, and the press.
As a self-taught freelance WordPress web designer, Tim developed websites for on-air personalities, best selling authors, and small businesses since 2008 – as well as the site your are viewing now.
Before the internet revolution, Tim was a veteran writer and producer for broadcast network and syndicated television. Producer credits include CNBC, Court TV, and the syndicated talk show, Geraldo. Productions of note include “Mothers Behind Bars,” a look at the effects of the Rockefeller drugs laws on female convicts with children, the first interview with serial killer, Joel Rifkin, filmed inside Attica State Prison, among many other on-location news events.
Tim is a member and past director of PRPLI – Public Relations Professionals of Long Island
