Effective August 14, 2022, certified Site Safety Managers (SSM) and Site Safety Coordinators (SSC) can simultaneously hold a Construction Superintendent registration. A certified SSM/SSC who registers to become a Construction Superintendent before the 2022 NYC Construction Codes go into effect on November 7, 2022, will qualify without having to demonstrate additional qualifying experience.
