If you have a sidewalk shed permit that has been active for more than 90 days, you must login to DOB NOW and complete the survey by August 31st.
Property owners and permit holders have until Thursday, August 31st to complete the mandatory Get Sheds Down Survey on the DOB NOW Public Portal.
Mayor Adams and DOB Commissioner Oddo recently announced the City’s new Get Sheds Down plan, an ambitious series of initiatives to overhaul the management of sidewalk sheds across New York City.
To assist in the implementation of these new initiatives, the Department is gathering more information about the sidewalk sheds up around the City, why they are up, and the timeline for when they will be taken down.
A mandatory online survey has been sent to all building owners and permit holders with sidewalk sheds that have been up for more than 90 days, with questions about their sheds.
Property owners and permit holders have until Thursday, August 31st to complete the mandatory Get Sheds Down Survey on the DOB NOW Public Portal.
**Note: DOB NOW: BUILD, LICENSING, SAFETY and BIS Options will be unavailable due to system maintenance on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
